[ubuntu] Problems as soon as I boot into fresh install of 12.04

Brand new install of Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS.

Problems listed:

1) Was required to use nomodeset to boot into Ubuntu. I have a GeForce 550 Ti.

2) Instantly started getting errors.

jockey-text crashed with ValueError in__get_value_from_name(): invalid literal for int() with base 10:'experimental-304

Does Ubuntu have problems with SSD drives and nVidia video cards?
