We'd like to get a tablet (maybe a Galaxy) and want to put Ubuntu on it.
Or can a tablet running "android" have android removed and replaced entirely with Ubuntu?
Or, can android be completely isolated so that you have a dual boot situation?
I've read a lot of stuff on the web about installing Ubuntu on a tablet and most of it seems experimental at best, poorly written and very "iffy". (that is- maybe it works....maybe it's not stable/reliable).
I'm looking to hear from only those of you who have installed ubuntu on a tablet- not smartphones.
Any ideas?
