Hi all,
I've had an Acer Aspire One netbook for a while, but the screen has broken and I've decided to buy a better laptop. I'm currently looking at the Acer V3 771G (any reason I shouldn't?). I notice most systems are now 64-bit. I'm just wondering if there could be any issues restoring my data from my external backup after installing Ubuntu 12.04 onto the new lappy. I use deja dup (I believe, the default program). It worked well when my hard drive crashed earlier, restoring all of my settings and such. Hopefullly it'll be as easy on a new system.
If it matters, I have my '/home' directory on a separate partition.
Thanks!
