installation on asus k53z fails

Hallo!

I created a Ubuntu Install Disk with the ubuntu-12.04.2-desktop-i386.iso file.

I inserted this CD into the DVD Device of my Laptop ASUS K53Z and started it.

Than it starts reading this DVD, shows the Ubuntu Icon on the screen and after a while it freezes.

Then I created a new Install Disk with the ubuntu-13.04-desktop-i386.iso file.

And I had the same Problem.

Are there any changes inside of my BIOS necessary?

Or could it be any other problem?
