[ubuntu] How to add additional drivers to ubuntu installation cd

Who has experience with adding additional drivers to Ubuntu installation CD. I am trying to add network driver to Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS.
Tried to use this manual: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/In...DCustomization , could not get it done.
