OK the upgrade from Ubuntu 22.04 LTS - to - Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS - I am fine with that..... BUT NO ONE has said anything about how big it is - BEFORE you start it.
It might be 5 Meg, 50 Meg, 500 Meg or 3500 Meg (3.5 Gig).
It's the absence of this information that I have a problem with.
Telling me how shiny new and fabulous it is, is mostly pointless.
But for the time being I am on SLOW 105Kbs ( 2 x 56K ) dial up speed, and halting everything - for half an hour - that is fine... but not for like 2 days....
The people running Ubuntu - NEED to include how much data is in the upgrades, in their releases, and perhaps how long it's going to take to download on 56K and a few other speeds - as this in kind of necessary if the time periods are going to be substantial in areas of slow internet speeds or unreliable connections.
ALSO - saving the upgrade to a USB stick or hard drive to install from there, with a downloader and file type, that can be restarted on an interrupted download would be a GOOD THING too.
Can someone send my comment to someone who can put this information to good effect, and into the starter of all upgrade data and web pages.
