[ubuntu] System error shortly after booting up

This doesn't seem to affect the computer, but often when I boot up a message appears that Ubuntu has suffered an error, and to reboot if there are problems.

The offending file:

ExecutablePath
/usr/bin/smbd

If I opt to send a report I get the first question:
How would you describe your setup?

with these choices:
I am running a Windows File Server
I am connecting to a Windows File Server

As far as i know I am doing neither.

Should I search for Samba and delete it?

How would I go about this?

Was using 12.04, now upgraded to 12.10. The error did come up since then, but has not this time when I booted up.
