[ubuntu] Unable to install 13.04, overheating problem

Hi, I purchased an Acer EeePC 1215N laptop a few years ago, with nVidia ION2 graphics. I've installed Ubuntu without too much problems on this thing before. I'm now trying to install 13.04 on it, but it won't let me because the laptop always reaches critical temperature while installing. I had overheating problems also before, which was resolved by installing Bumblebee. Nevertheless I couldn't really make use of the optirun feature, since that would cause the laptop to overheat in less than a minute. Is it possible to run Ubuntu from the USB disk, then install the Bumblebee drivers in that, and then proceed to install to the hard disk? Do I have any other options? Thanks for reading
