[ubuntu] HL2240 problem with 13.04

My HL2240 printer worked well under the alpha version of 13.04. However after doing a complete re-install with the released version, I find that it does not print, i.e. the appropriate number of pages come out but they are all blank. The driver for HL2170 was used previously and installing still recommends this, however it doesnt work. Has any one else had this problem and do you have a solution?
