[ubuntu] unable to install libnet on ubuntu 12.04

i am trying to install

http://www.filewatcher.com/m/libnet-....140191-0.html - first package at the top

i run

./configure

make

make install

and i get:

install: no destination specified
make: *** [install] Error 1


not sure what I am doing wrong here. I would appreciate any help.
