[ubuntu] Ubuntu installation partition failure and now computer is stuck in reboot?

I wanted to install ubuntu 11.10 along with windows 7 on my PC on a partition. I went through all the steps and then when it came to partitioning I got an error . I then restarted the computer, only to be met with a continous boot loop. I decided to use the Live CD and there I saw my hard drive and all the partitions but I noticed my main drive had lost free space? Can someone please explain to me how to get windows back. I don't want to have to reinstall Windows.......
